#news #info 07.29.10	Hello everyone, Many apologies for the lack of updates. There have been a lot of things going on the past few months with work, moving across the country, dealing with Cobra (which I hope none of you need to ever go on), being out of the state for a month due to work, dealing with other family members with cancer, unpacking, and just general errands that need to be attended to when you move across the country. The third wave is set to begin on Aug. 1st. So far we have raised $6403.53 from wave 1 and 2 combined ($4109.14 from wave 1 and $2294.39 from wave 2). Our goal is to reach $10,000 for Cat, even though her medical expenses exceed that amount. One of the reasons we have been slow in posting the goal amount, aside from the aforementioned events, is that we have been trying to add up all of her medical costs from surgeries, emergency room bills, doctor visits, prescription bills, chemo, reconstruction, etc. We decided to settle on the amount of $10k because it seemed like a reasonable goal to surpass so that we could donate some money to an unnamed breast cancer charity.
